In 1754, William Steele opened the Steele’s Brewery in Halifax, paving the way for true and unique Halifax beer-making. Many more would follow in his footsteps, including: Alexander Keith and John Oland. The Halifax Alehouse pays homage to those great pioneers who took pride in making quality beer, brewed to perfection with care. Their legacy reflects on the success and the sure future of local beer.
